Saving Money For Passover

General Tips:

Look for coupons in your local paper, inserts, store ads and on coupons.com (Remember, Manufacturer’s coupons (unlike store coupons) can be used anywhere – take coupons from one store’s at and use them at the store with the best sale. Example: My post for cheap Streit’s Macaroons

Buy Meat Wholesale (Split the pack with 1-2 people if it’s too much just for you.)
Plan your meals so you don’t overbuy/buy extras
Do your own baking instead of buying pre-packaged goods which start at $6/pkg
Look for Kosher L’Pesach items outside of the Kosher section (Dairy, Soda, Canned goods, etc)
Shop during Chol Hamoed (Intermediate Days) when things go on sale (leftover items usually include Pesach pasta, cake mix, cereal, etc) Note: Pretty much all frozen items will run out quickly.
Shop ahead for next year (Many items are dated well ahead!)
Call companies for coupons – both the Jewish companies and the general brands that make Kosher For Passover Items. Please see the Companies You Can Call For Coupons Page.
