8 (5 count) packages of Zyrtec, 2 Hershey bars and 2 Skinny Cow chocolate candy items… retail price $60.68….after coupons .24 cents.
How I did it:
In this Sunday’s paper there are coupons for $6 off any 5-count Zyrtec. The coupon is also available to print on SmartSource.com which I previously posted about.
When you swipe your card on the “Magic Coupon Machine”- you will get a coupon for .99 cents off any Hershey’s item.
The candy is on sale this week for .99 making this free and the ad demonstrates this. To make the deal even sweeter (no pun intended), the 4/21 Smart Source insert had a coupon for $1 Hershey’s Air Delight when you buy a regular Hershey bar. Since one coupon was a store coupon and the other was a manufacturer’s coupon, I was able to combine them and get 2 free candy bars.
Also in the 4/21 Smart Source insert was a coupon for Buy 1 Get 1 Free Skinny Cow chocolate singles. CVS’s coupon policy states that if you use a B1G1 Free coupon during a B1G1 Free sale, you get both items free. This week CVS has Skinny Cow chocolate items on a “Buy 1 Get 1 for .25 cents” sale and it worked the same way. I used my B1G1 free coupon and paid only .24 cents. (Yes I know it should be .25 cents, but for some reason, the coupon must have taken off an extra penny.)
