Mid-Sized Couponing Haul at Acme and Awesome Deals You Can Take Advantage of!

August 9th 2013 Acme 81.79 down to 5.88

16 Candy Bars, 16 Boxes of Pasta, 1 Bottle of Jergen’s Self-Tanning Lotion, 1 Colgate Toothbrush, 10 bottles of Powerade, 1 8-pack of Powerade, 2 Bottles of Pepsi Next, 2 Boxes of Eggo Waffles, 1 Bag of Celery and 1 Bag of Onions…Retail Price $81.79….I paid $5.88.

How I bought this for so little:

Candy Bars:

3 Musketeer’s bars are .49 cents (limit 4 at the sale price), you can buy more at the retail price of .79 cents. There is a .75 cents off 2 coupon on Coupons.com which doubles to $1.50 off 2, making the sale bars free and the additional bars only .04 cents. (I have 4 computer at home, so I was able to print plenty of coupons.)

The Twix and Dove candy bars are also .49 cents sale price (limit 4) – These were done with permission in a separate transaction (everything else besides these 4 bars that I bought was in one big transaction). There are .50 cents off 2 coupons found on Coupons.com.

Pasta:

The pasta coupons used were a mix of .50 cents off 2, $1 off 2, and .75 cents off 2 Barilla products. The pasta is on sale for .88 cents so I paid various prices. Coupons for the on-sale pasta varieties (reg., fiber, whole wheat and veggie) are no longer available.

Self-Tanner: I had an issue with another Jergen’s self-tanning product so I was sent out a free product coupon

Colgate Toothbrush: On sale for .99 cents, I got a coupon for .75 cents off which doubled up to the value which I got from calling Colgate-Palmolive.

Powerade:

The 10 individual bottles are on sale for 10 for $5 – I used a $5 off 50 Acme store coupon (regional insert) making these free.

As for the 8-pack of Powerade, I had an issue and was sent a free product coupon

Pepsi Next: In a previous post (a while back), I posted about requesting a free Pepsi Next coupon which gets mailed to you. Note: Bring the entire page with you to show this is a mailed coupon and not an internet coupon (cause it looks like one), most stores have a “no free internet coupons”  policy. The coupon may still be available here. Pepsi Next is on sale for $1 this week.

Waffles:

Ego waffles are on sale 3 for $5 and ringing up  $1.67 each. On KelloggsFamilyRewards.com, you can redeem points for a $1.50 off 1 coupon which is what I used. I was able to print 2 coupons making for very cheap waffles.

Produce: Both the celery and onions are on sale for $1 each. No coupons were used on those 2 products.

So in summary, you guys can score cheap and free candy, a free toothbrush (if you called Colgate-Palmolive like I suggested in a previous post) , free Pepsi Next (if you previously requested the coupon), .17 cent waffles if you are signed up with Kellogg’s Family Rewards and reasonably priced priced (no coupon needed).
