CVS April 4th, 2013….retail price $27.04, paid $1.30 plus I got $1 back in Extra Bucks
Here’s the breakdown:
Transaction 1:
CVS has a promo this week that when you scan your card, you get a coupon for a free bottle of Clear shampoo! (That’s why it always pays to check sale ads!)
Transaction 2:

Almay Eye Shadow $5.99
I had a store coupon for $5 off any $15 or higher purchase of lotion of cosmetic products. My actual order rang up $14.98 but I asked the manager if he would let me use the coupon anyway and he agreed.
I had a coupon for $5 off 2 Almay products (coupon can be found on coupons.com) and a coupon for a free Suave lotion -up to $3 (mailed promotion), plus I had $1 in Extra Bucks from my quarterly earn rewards.
Additionally, there is a promotion to get $3 back in Extra Bucks when you buy select Almay products.
At the end of the first transaction, I had paid $1.06 and received $3 in CVS Extra Bucks.
Transaction 3:
Maxwell House Instant Coffee $3.99
I had a coupon for .75 cents off for Maxwell House Instant Coffee (coupon can be found on coupons.com) and I applied the $3 Extra Bucks from the previous transaction.
There is also a promotion to get $1 back in Extra Buck rewards when you buy the coffee.
I paid .24 cents for this transaction.
In total, I ended up paying $1.30 for everything plus I got a $1 back in Extra Bucks. I hope everyone followed my math!
